We are thrilled to announce that ALG Attorney Chris Rusing has successfully passed the rigorous Florida Bar Exam in February 2023. This accomplishment expands ALG’s legal practice to encompass those affected by severe aviation accidents in the Sunshine State.

Currently residing between Florida and Washington, Chris manages his commitments across both coasts. Chris expressed his relief and satisfaction, stating, “The Florida Bar exam has a reputation for being tough, and it had been twenty years since I sat for my last Bar exam. Thankfully, after dedicating numerous intense study hours in the final weeks leading up to the exam, I managed to clear it.” His successful passing of the Washington, Colorado, and now Florida Bar exams each on the first attempt exemplifies his dedication and expertise.

Chris, however, is not just an aviation attorney. His diverse and impressive background extends to being an Airline Transport Pilot rated international airline Captain and Check Airman on the A-320 series of aircraft, now with over 7500 hours of flight time. His role at his airline primarily involves training and checking the proficiency of his airline’s pilots in simulators and on the flight line, ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency in operations.

With Chris’s newest achievement, ALG attorneys are now licensed to practice in California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Florida. ALG extends its capabilities to handle aviation accidents throughout the U.S. and internationally, and we associate with local counsel in other states when required.

We at ALG continue our commitment to provide excellent legal services in aviation law, and we are excited to have the opportunity to extend our reach to Florida. We congratulate Chris on this significant accomplishment and look forward to what this means for our clients in the Sunshine State.
